The main objective of the Asia Pacific Mediation Forum is to facilitate the exchange and development of knowledge, values and skills of mediation in any form including inter-cultural, interpersonal, inter-institutional and international, within and between the diverse countries and cultures in the Asia-Pacific region. To fulfill this objective, conferences will be held in the Asia-Pacific region every two years, with a different country taking responsibility for hosting each conference.
The next APMF conference will be held in New Delhi, India in 2010.
Announcement: The APMF voted to join ACR as an International Organizational Affiliate at their conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on June 18, 2008. This entitles APMF members to join ACR as e-members under the International Organizational Affiliate pilot project.
